WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Executives and managers with experience in the traditional business functions of finance, production, marketing, sales, accounting, engineering, and logistics who want to better understand how these functions work together within the company and across the company’s supply chain to enhance value and profitability.

KEY PARTICIPANT BENEFITS

With completion of the Integrated Supply Chain Management Program, you will develop a better understanding of the complexities and interrelationships among the supply chain areas of demand planning, customer relationship management, operations, logistics, lean management, and resource/financial management.

The Integrated Supply Chain Management Program is composed of six, two-and-one-half day courses. Taught by UT’s internationally renowned faculty, these courses consistently have been ranked among the best in the field. Courses are offered twice per year and may be taken separately by those not pursuing certification.

COURSES

Supply Chain Management Strategy — A strategic overview of supply chain challenges and opportunities involving organizational value chains, logistics service quality, negotiation strategies, globalization, and relationship management.

Demand Management in the Supply Chain —Understanding how the demand side of an enterprise’s value chain (sales, marketing, downstream channel partners) interfaces with its supply side (operations, logistics, purchasing, upstream supply partners).
 
Logistics and Operations in the Supply Chain —A framework for analyzing, understanding, and implementing state-of-the-art strategic thinking as it applies to firms with global operations and logistics functions.

The Lean Enterprise and the Supply Chain — Examining the integration of procurement, production planning, manufacturing, and distribution as essential elements to successful integrated supply chain management.

Supply Chain Resource Management —Utilizing proprietary valuation software developed by UT faculty to measure the impact that supply chain changes have on the values of participating companies and their supply chain partners.

Integrative Supply Chain Experience — Illustrating the supply chain planning and execution cycle.
